The collection contains production material for eleven titles published between 1945 and 1963. The collection includes illustrations done in a variety of media including watercolor and pencil, proofs, and a proof dummy, and one pencil illustration was signed for Dr. Irvin Kerlan. The collection also contains some miscellaneous artwork consisting of pencil and pencil and watercolor studies, and some pencil and watercolor illustrations done for Christmas cards.

Tasha Tudor was born August 28, 1915 in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally named Starling Burgess, she later legally changed her name to Tasha Tudor. She studied at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and published her first book for children, Pumpkin Moonshine, the story of a little girl who brings home the largest pumpkin, in 1938.
